Didsbury gets it's Own Authentic Spanish Restaurant
Tinto Didsbury, is the creation of Natalia Esquerdo and Nacho Perez, both born and raised in Spain, Nacho a well respected and very successful Spanish Chef, and his partner Natalia who makes a brilliant front of house, together a formidable team. They remember growing up in Spain “...Long summer afternoons overlooking the Mediterranean sea; an extended family lunch where the mothers, grandmothers and great aunts bicker over which is great grandmother's real recipe, and Nacho puts his two cents in. Talking and joking with family and friends. The children running around. A perfect paella with a glass or two of wine. This is what life’s all about."
This is what makes Tinto so unique, everything Nacho and Natalia provide in their menu, is from original Recipes that have come through their family, handed down from generation to generation, to make their Spanish offering, a truly memorable one. Tinto Specialises in cooking over an open coal or wood fire allowing them to cook at very high temperatures, providing that special taste, perfect for Steak and Fish. We are not talking here about any Steak or Fish, but their are daily special blackboards, highlighting current availability of "Whole Turbots ( £5/100g )" by weight or the amazing ten year old, 45 day aged Galician blond beef (£7.50/100g). Another of Nachos famous dishes is Menorcan milk fed lamb which is incredibly tender and flavoursome , however, the Paellas which are all made from scratch, take some beating and the Tapas are to die for. The menu and wine offering has been carefully thought out as they offer something for everyone.
Tinto is in a great location, easy to find in the centre of Didsbury, has a great ambience, lively atmosphere, and there is no doubt about it, after enjoying all that original Spanish food and wine, on your way out you have to pinch yourself, you are in the UK and not in Spain. Tinto is becoming very popular, and it is wise to book to avoid disappointment.

Suckling Pig and Milk fed Lamb to die for by Chris Garner
Each time I go to this Restaurant, the food takes my breath away.with it's unique and original Spanish dishes that are cooked to such a high standard. The Restaurant is owned and run by Nacho and Natalia who make sure your whole experience takes you straight back to spain, as everything is authentic and well panned out. On this occasion we had Suckling pig which was crispy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside, the milk fed lamb was not only tender but had an amazing flavour, both dishes I have only ever had to this standard in Spain, save yourself the airfare and time lag and get down there today!!!
Amazing Wild Fresh Turbot by Christopher Garner
Authentic Spanish Restaurant run by Natalia and Nacho, Brilliant Husband and Wife team, Nacho is the Chef, Natalia front of house, Food was excellent, staff warm and friendly, very attentive and Restaurant has very nice relaxed atmosphere. The Star of the night was the Wild Fresh Turbot cooked on Charcoal and it was exceptional with Tinto Potatoes which had been cooked with it and were superb. At 1.5 kilo the Turbot did not leave us hungry. There is a great variety of Spanish favourites to choose from and they even provided freshly squeezed orange juice, which no one seems to do any more, with Vodka and ice, my favourite. Will definitely be going back.
