Amazing Staff Great Night Out by James

We went to the restaurant bar and grill for my wife's birthday last night, although we were running late getting there from Liverpool the staff were fantastic and so accommodating when we did eventually arrive. The reception girls all very glamourous - what you'd expect from a premium restauarnt sorted us a table in the bar for arrival drinks - a nice touch i thought, then when we were ready we got taken up to the restaurant itself, the guys upstairs were awesome, they were so professional but fun as well - especially the scottish head waiter, my wife has a serious nut allergy and he dealt with this with no fuss or stress talked her through what she could have and what to stay clear from, then made great suggestions on wines for the table, nothing was too much bother! It's a real shame that more restauarnts in manchester don't treat their guests like restaurant abr and grill do! we will definetly be back thanks so much guys you made our night, oh and my wife's birthday plate was ace too! 5 stars!!!

No quibble with the food itself but I agree the menu is boring. They don't take any risks. Its a shame because it was a really interesting restaurant when it first opened and now its beaten by the other restaurants around, especially grill on the alley, luso and gaucho. I still take clients here because you know there'll be something they will like on offer but i wouldn't eat here with friends or a date, its too dull

Been here loads of times, the service is not what it was - amateurish at times and definitely not what you'd expect at these prices. Needs much improvement.

EXCELLENT BIRTHDAY by TRACEY MURPHY

WE WENT INTO THE BAR AT 7PM AS WE WERE NOT DUE TO GO INTO THE RESTAURANT UNTIL 8. ME AND FOUR GIRLFRIENDS HAD THREE ROUNDS OF COCKTAILS THAT WERE ALL RECOMENDED BY THE BAR MEN AND THEY WERE ALL LOVELY. THE CHAMPAGNE COCKTAILS WERE OUR FAVOURITES. WE THEN WENT TO THE RESTAURANT AND WERE SAT IN A NICE BOOTH. THE FOOD WAS VERY NICE, ASIAN PLATE FOR STARTERS IS A MUST. WE WERE WELL LOOKED AFTER BY THE STAFF UPSTAIRS WHO WERE MORE THATN HELPFUL WITH RECOMENDATIONS. WE ALL SHARED 2 PUDDING PLATES FOR DESSERTS AND THESE WERE VERY NAUGHTY. I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMEND THIS RESTAURANT FOR THE FOOD, ATMOSPHERE AND SERVICE.
