Lounge Ten is packed full of character. With a décor of deep and lusting red and the flickering of candles under paintings of morally questionable Grecians, Lounge Ten is a sexy and sensual restaurant – an uptight dining experience, it’s not. The décor is something more akin to Elton John’s living room than a city restaurant, but strangely enough it works. Post watershed artwork aside, Lounge 10 is a joy to visit. The food is equal to the naughty character of the place, and although the small portions will make you double check the price, they’re all a delicious menagerie of mystical flavours and tastes. A one off restaurant in Manchester, proving that you don’t have to be sleazy to be sexy.

Wonderful by Trocoa
I've recently had a course of chemotherapy, which has badly affected my sense of taste. Everything I cook tastes awful. If anyone out there is in the same position, may I recommend to you the set menu at Lounge 10? For £10 you can have two delicious courses and coffee, whilst adding a glass of wine and a dessert will bring the bill to £16. The set menu is now available from lunchtime to 7.00pm - ideal for a pre-theatre meal. Why their food tastes so good I don't know. I wonder if I could take the chef home and get him to cook for me? The only three meals I have enjoyed in the last month have been at Lounge 10. Each time it has been soup and risotto (the fixed menu has no choice for vegetarians, sadly) but the flavours are different each week and they all taste wonderful! Thank you, Mr. Chef, for making the last month that little bit better. And thank you to Lee, the waiter, who remembers any personal details you give him, but is never intrusive. Hope to visit again soon.

I brought my mother here on a friend's recommendation. She was so embarassed by the artwork that she didn't enjoy her meal at all. The food is good but I can't say it was a comfortable meal, just a warning!

My family have dined at lounge 10 on several occasions and the food is consistantly excellent, along with the suble entertainment, I would recommend it to anyone.
