Smiths has been "up and running" for some time now and I can honestly say that each of my many visits there has been a success and very enjoyable. The food is always very good and consistent, the atmosphere is at all times convivial, and the value is consistently extremely good. The Wine List is fairly comprehensive and reasonably priced, and there is always the choice of two monthly recommended wines. The menu is changed every three weeks, and there is the extra option of a comprehensive specials board offering mouth-watering alternatives. I would recommend "Smiths" without hesitation.
Miss it - Miss out by Tracy Fisher
People might forgive you for not knowing about Smiths. But you won't forgive yourself. Excellent dining at more than affordable prices, Smiths is the ideal restaurant for any occasion. The fixed menu - an absolute bargain at £15.95 for three courses - is changed every month to give lots of choice. There is also a specials board of starters and mains to tempt you. An eclectic range of meals to suit every palate. Highly recommended and booking is essential at weekends and on Tuesdays (Jazz night).
