UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT - FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE !!!! :-) by Nicki
I have been to the Albion Bistro about 6 times since the new owner took over in Feb 2008 - I have to say the food is great (new chef!) and the service is excellent - it's now a really friendly and welcoming environment. I've got no hesitation in recommending to others. People who've known the 'old' Albion should definitely give it another go since it's changed management. (Great quiz on a Thursday too I've discovered!)

we had a meal at the albion a few weeks ago and was not happy with the food and service at all poor show meat was dry and over cooked finished food and left never to go back again have been there before and was not happy thought it was just a bad day and tried again

WE HAVE EATEN IN SEVERAL BISTROS IN UK ,USA ,AND SOUTH AFRICAN RESTURANTS BUT WILL NEVER GO BAKE TO THE ALBION i THINK THE CHEF WAS OF THIS NIGHT FOOD OVER COOKED AND BURNT ,STAFF OR OWNER IF i REACALL THE MANS NAME WAS KEVIN WAS RUDE AND ABRUBT . We ate there about 4 years ago and there was a south african chef there and that was food not the rubish we got this time

We were in a group of people and where recomended to eat at the Albion but will never go back again food very poor quality and owner very rude and abrupet
