Very poor by Asif Asham
Very poor service, and food was below average compared to other restaurants in Rusholme. Meals took 90 minutes to arrive, and some were wrong

Don't eat here by Natasha Albon
On Saturday 27th October, me, my boyfriend and our friend went for an meal here. To be honest it was one of the worst indian meals we have eaten. My boyfriend had eaten here once before and had a bad experiance that time too. If you eat here and enjoy it - you wouldn't know a good curry if you fell over one. The korma sauce was watery and flavourless. The waiter told us that rice didn't come with our meals, we had to show him the actual menu where it was clearly stated. Tandoori chicken lacked flaour, very bland. Naan breads are better from asda than this place. Attitude of waiting staff was as bad as the food - rude, unhelpful and had to ask for everything several times; and even didn't bring our change back!! WARNING DON'T EAT HERE

friendly staff by angela
First class food is served here from the very capable hands of chef, Mr Choudray Proprieter, Ali ,makes sure that everything is as it should be and is always at hand ensuring the smooth running of a well established restaurant. The waiters are exremely helpful and will discuss the various dishes and help you with your choice. A warrm welcome from genuinely friendly staff make this a firm favourite. Strongly recommended. Angela

huge choices by jennie norman altrincham
We've been again today to Lal Haweli, [see May entry in the reviews] for my birthday, and again the food, service, atmosphere and overall experience was truly lovely. My husband tried one of the chefs specials "Chicken Sultani" and I once again had the Chicken Shashlik. GORGEOUS FOOD! The children were happy with their choices of the things kids like. There are so many restaurants on the curry mile to choose from, but we can't go to any others as there's always the possibility that we could be disappointed..........but not at Lal Haweli. Keep it going!
