A relative of The Lime Tree in West Didsbury, whatever time of day or night TLS is usually rammed to the rafters. With a small, tried and trusted menu the quality is usually excellent and the service is equally as good. The chef was apparently formerly of The Bar which shows the increasingly small circles of separation in Chorltonís social circles and we might as well mention that The Lead Station sometimes resembles a butch lesbian convention but hey thatís a plus if youíre that way inclined.
Other than that, Badly Drawn Boy and his permanent tea cosy have been known to grace the place although itís not really cool to go running up trembling.

A decent place by Gil Foster
A few of the things they serve here are pretty good. The salmon was great but pricey and the eggs are great. Watch out for the veg sausages though - they taste of (veg) rind!
