Fully licenced with air conditioning. Offering a superb atmosphere and the full ambience of the Orient. First to introduce tandoori style cooking in Europe (1966) by chefs specially brought over from India. Experts in the authentic North Indian cuisine of subtle Moghlai and Punjabi preparations for the discerning gourmet. This is a dining experience not to be missed. |

A Wonderful Surprise by I.Jane
Rajdoot proves to me that you can get authentic and delicious Indian food in Manchester! You don't have to settle for the awful oily curry from a jar on offer at the curry mile. The food was excellent, so flavorful. I tried the Chicken Jhol and would order it again. The decor and service were also excellent. I ate there last night and was so pleased I had to write a review and spread the word.

Rajdoot by Ralph Cotter
This is one Manchester's oldest established traditional Indian restaurants. The restaurant rarely gets too busy and so some complain of a lack of vibrant atmosphere but they probably miss the point. This restaurant offers traditional Indian cuisine cooked by a masterchef. It's not the place to go if you are looking for a riotous time. This is very much for serious foodies who just happen to fancy an Indian tonight. Not cheap either.
