“There are few more alluring prospects in Manchester than walking past Dimitri’s on a balmy summer evening. The intoxicating aroma from the kitchens dominates the bottom of Deansgate. Sitting outside, with the sun falling lazily through the glass roof of the arcade, you could be anywhere apart from Northern England. Dimitri’s only problem is that its so popular you may have to wait a while if you haven’t booked”

Avoid the Basement by Andy W
Really disappointing experience at Dimitri's. Shown to the basement and served an expensive and underwhelming meal. May still be a decent place to go but don't accept the basement option.
Excellent tapas by John Dertleigh
Great tapas! It’s a bit on the pricey side but the food is so nice that you can forgive them for it, and it’s a really gorgeous little restaurant – all reds and greens and everyone seems to be having a great time whenever I walk past. It’s perfect for when you want to catch up with some friends and eat without feeling like you have to be on your best behaviour – not stuffy, like some places I could mention round there
