Angel Pub North Quarter by Howard Morris
Friendly bar staff and carrying on the tradition of the Beer House as it was once known. Me and a mate who currently and foolishly lives in France where beer does not exist, chose excellant hand pulled ales (White Lion for me!) and chatted to an old Yorkshire bearded gent who reviews ales as a hobby. Nice work. He rated the Angel's dedication to ale choice and we agree. A good way to spend time at the beginning of a daytime pub crawl whilst you can still taste the beer properly. You won't be disapointed at the choice available guys.

Wow !! The food was fantastic. The beer was just as good and the staff are really friendly. I had a fish cake starter and can honestly say it was awesome...
