Myself and my family dine at this this restaurant quite regular and have never had cause for complaint the staff and management have always been extremely accomadating and seen to any needs we may have, we have recomended the Saheeb to our family and friends and have never received any bad feedback from them and they have also become regular diners themselves. I always find the food satisfactory and would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I found that the staff were extremeley good and the environment is nice and peacefull as for the food i felt that the spices was mixed up as my rogan josh had too much paprika and way to much turmeric it also had the onions of dupiaza dish. but overall it is a good place to eat but food is lacking at the moment.

Having some time off, myself and my girlfriend decided to go for a good curry. We have tried a few restaurants locally but had noticed the Saheb had opened and thought we would try it. On arrival we were met very pleasantly and given at table straight away. Ok, we had already booked. Ok, it was a Sunday evening and raining, but still we have had to wait an hour before at other restaurants even though we have booked. I had read the reviews about the Saheb and I have to say I had a more positive experience than others. The service was great. The waiters could not help any more than they could. In fact service was slightly over board. Asking if we needed drinks or was everything ok. But who cares if you have worked hard for a treat, it nice for someone to wait on you. The meal itself was gorgeous. I had the Sagaloo with spinach. Honestly it was lovely. I normally go for your standard curries, but thought I would try one of the house specials. Again it was very tasty, and spicy which is what I like as a curry lover. Talking to a member of staff on the way out, there seems to plans for the Saheb to be a little like The Pearl for entertainment, and appeal. It doesn’t need it. A nice meal, good service in a good atmosphere, plenty of other diners too so you know it’s good, altogether a good night.

I attended a function at Saheb, for close family and friends, i found the food nice, and service initially good. The waiters were accomodating and helpful. The evening was however ruined by the portion sizes calculated by the restaurant. guests were expected to share one small naan between 4 adults. starters were only enough for 10 people when it was ordered for 4 times that many. When management was approached they refused to recognise their mistake and rectify the situation. Instead they blamed the guests saying they had been greedy!!! This behaviour soured the entire evening leaving the guests hungry and the hosts stressed, embarassed and in tears! I would NOT recommend holding a function there in the future.

Excellent quality food served in very pleasent surroundings by friendly and very helpfull staff. I can highly recommend an evebing here..and at less than £40 with drinks for 3 people excellent value for money too! Well done!
