Given the reputation of Malmaison I was expecting to have a stunning meal when I stayed there recently. I appreciated the local touches on the menu but the food itself wasn't that special. I've had better meals at some of the independent restaurants in Manchester and would suggest that visitors try Luso, Stock or Market Restaurant for better value and more interesting menus.
