Choy Hing Village Restaurant

Choy Hing Village has been established for over 20 years and has survived all the financial traumers over the last two decades because it has developed a rock solid customer base who return time and time again. The success of this Restaurant is that it has never been a fad, like so many that come and go over the years, but has built it's whole reputation on word and mouth and personal reputation. The hosts Martin and Vera pride themselves on providing Quality food using the freshest ingrediants and original Chinese recipes and dishes that have developed through the generations of time.

Over the years they have served a great many celebreties from all walks of life from Television to Sport, some of which travel long distances to enjoy their cuisine. We arrived on a busy Friday Night where we found the atmosphere cosy and vibrant and the staff extremely freindly and helpful, proving you don't need to be a celebrity to get well looked after. We started with Salt and Pepper spare ribs that were tender and succulent as well as squid which I,ve not had for years with prawns on toast with a sweet and sour sauce which were excellent. Our mains, consisted of Chilli beef and duck in a black bean sauce with Vermachelli, which are both my wife and I's favourites and they were superb.

They provide a good choice of wines, draught, bottle lagers and beers and I have to say, when the bill arrived it was very good value for money.

Choy Hing Village is situated at the top of Brooklands road, very close to Brooklands Metrolink Station and their is ample free parking, we would reccommend this Restaurant to anyone in search of 5* Chinese food, also can cater for functions parties etc..
