Situated in Levenshulme THAT CAFE reflects its origins as two terraced houses knocked together, complete with openfires in winter, offering value for money food and wine in a re-assuring, homely and relaxed atmoshpere. Menus which change weekly are devised from the best seasonal ingredients drawing together world-wide culinary styles with imagination and flair, with the emphasis on flavour at an affordable price, served in comfortable surroundings by friendly, knowledgeable staff.

The service was warm, friendly and professional. The choice of food was attractive to suit a wide range of tastes - multi-generational - and we had a great time, thank you.

Had to write a review of That Cafe! It's become my local restaurant since moving into the Levenshulme area. The menu changes each week and is full of local seasonal fare. The atmosphere is really cosy and charming and the service is perfect. In fact, everything about this place is perfect. Imagine if you died and went to heaven and could choose the perfect place to eat each night, this is where you'd come. If you are passionate about food, about the changing seasons and about local produce you need to try That Cafe. It's a hidden gem. If this was located in the city centre you'd have to book weeks in advance. Definitely my favourite restaurant in Manchester, bar none. Sorry if this sounds like it's written by the owner...it genuinely isn't. I just happen to love the place.
