Manchester Food and Drink Festival Winners

The 10th Annual Manchester Food and Drink Festival is over. We've stuffed ourselves on Mrs Kirkham's Cheeses, sampled a huge amount of dishes we've never tried, introduced squeamish friends to the delights of l'escargot and got drunk on locally brewed beer. All in all, we found this year's festival to be a resounding success.

To round off the festivities was the Gala Dinner, the glittering event where the city's biggest names in gastronomy come together to find out which venues were to win this year's awards.
